The staff was very attentive and friendly, and wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The pool was convenient for all the guests because of proximity in a beautiful lush garden. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with adequate choices. The location is excellent being close to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary. There is a walking path that you share with motorcycles but you can get to Ubud centre in 15 min. It would have been nice to have a pillow selection. Pillows were hard. For this price point I would highly recommend this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay.

Nice quiet location

Enjoyed are stay, staff are great. The only drawback to the location is the lack of restaurants in the area as most restaurants are on the either side of the monkey forest.The walk only takes 10 minutes but you are dodging the monkeys and scooters on the path to these restaurants.

amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Nestled away in a nice quite part of ubud, but close enough to all the action. Rooms are spacious and clean and the gardens have a beautiful atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Overall the place was nice to stay in and the staff were very friendly. However, we were disappointed with our room as we could hear the people talking next door very clearly and also when their TV was on. Due to this, we did not have very good sleeps. Apart from that, everything else was fine.

Great family stay

We only stayed 3 nights - wish we'd been able to stay longer. We are a family of 5 and had the family villa which was perfect for us. The hotel wasn't full so we were often the only ones at breakfast and around the pool. We loved the inside outside living. The staff were very attentive to our needs, especially our children aged 5, 9 and 11. Only downside was not being able to walk to/from monkey forest rd after dark but a car/ taxi was cheap. Food was great.

表は素敵なレストランで、背後にビラが位置する。 とっても素敵なスタッフもいますが、レストランとの仕事ももっていて、ホテル専門の感がないのが、少し問題。スタッフの数も足りない感！ 可もなし不可もなし。特徴にかけます。 近くには、ラカレケやら影武者やら日本人に嬉しいレストランもあり、便利。 モンキーフォレストまで徒歩７分。

its a lovely hotel quiet, comfortable, the staff are fantastic no request a chore for them, and always greeted with a smile. The aussie service industry could learn a lesson from these folks. The food is fine, the location is perfect for the hustle and bustle of Monkey forest road. the pool is just fine to relax in, gardens are immaculate. Overall the Chili is a value for money hotel and would recommend it to anybody.

Chili Cottage

A great central place to stay in Ubud. Our cottage was very comfortable, comprising of a bedroom, large bathroom with bath and outdoor shower and a kitchenette outside. It was situated in a beautiful, peaceful garden by the pool. The staff were all friendly and efficient, especially Pindah and Komang. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was really good, try the pineapple pancakes!

Lazy staff

No water pressure in showers. Had to ask for sheets to be changes after 8 nights. I asked for the toilet to be cleaned as there was no toilet brush to do so myself. Cutlery and crockery were put away with only a rinse, I would of washed it myself but there was not dish cloth or detergent to do so. Security slept in the dinning room that I discovered at 7am on my way to yoga! Staff also made themselves comfortable in your room to watch channel 87 (an Indonesian soap channel) and weren't smart enough to change it back to the channel that you were previously watching. I had the advertised turndown service once in the 12 days I stayed because the owner was onsite with his family.

Made and the team provided a wonderful weekend wind down after a hectic work time. Food is excellent with a nice balance of flavours (try the grilled tuna - medium) presented with a level of politeness I have not experienced in a long time. World, take note, this is customer service!

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Chilli Ubud - das Hotel ist sehr nett, genau wie die Leute die es betreiben. Vom Frühstück bis zum Abend bekommt man immer ein Lächeln. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

2回目の滞在です。 静かな島でのんびり過ごしたい人におすすめです。 設備は最低限ですが、コスパ最高です！ 広々としたベッドルーム、エアコン、リラックスできるプール（ウォータースライダー付き）、 バー、レストラン、フレンドリーなスタッフのみなさんと、島でゆっくり過ごすに十分のものが揃っています。 （食事は、隣のホテル Mola-mola house がメニュー豊富で安くておすすめです。） レンタルバイク・シュノーケリング・マングローブツアーなど各種オプショナルツアーも豊富です。 トイレの下水設備も十分で、シャワーは熱いお湯がしっかり出ます。 しかし、高級ホテルに慣れている方は清掃など不満を感じるかもしれません。 （シャワー用のビーチサンダルの持参をおすすめします） 室内はアメニティ・ティーメーカー・グラス・スリッパなどありません。 冷蔵庫内のビール・水は有料です。 ルームサービスはありません。 Wi-Fiはレセプション周辺のみ使えます。 日本語スタッフはおらず、英語のみです。 マッサージは近隣のマッサージ屋から出張を頼むので、前日までにレセプションで予約をした方が良いです。 また、ホテルそばのビーチは波が高くて船も多く、泳ぐには向いていません。 デメリットもありますが、価格を考えると十分すぎるサービスのホテルです。 またレンボンガン島へ行く際は利用したいと思います。
