"Checkin is 3pm. We got there at 2.30pm and tried to checkin. There is no reception area. We found a staff member at the event center and she told us to go to "The Pantry". It's a small store on the premises. This was closed and there was no one about. When we phoned we were told that a text message would be sent to us with the access code at 3pm. This was annoying as the cabins were certainly ready. Aside from this the place was lovely!"

"We were impressed with our accommodation from the minute we arrived. It was very surprising to find a garage attached to the apartment and this made unpacking quick and easy. Our apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. The Sports Bar is conveniently located for a quiet drink and meal. The surrounding area is great for walks and kangaroo spotting. We will definitely stay next time we visit the Hunter Valley"

"Nestled on a beautiful winery, Spicers provided a quiet getaway for a night or two. The rooms are incredibly spacious with modern bathrooms and relaxing patios. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant, Botanica, is incredible - both food and service!"
