"A beautiful getaway for 3 nights. Blue Door was fantastic, cannot recommend this place enough, and the Shimna cafe downstairs was beautiful for breakfast. Will definitely be coming back."

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"Lovely apartment. We had a really nice few days here. No allocated parking, but we never had a problem finding a space close by. Good to have a shop so close (literally under our feet.) Facilities were good; enough kitchen utensils, pans, etc. that we could cook meals with no problems. Nice bathroom and excellent lounge area. Seating area and space outside as well if the weather permits. Nice area to walk around as well, with harbour and coast very close by. The location is a bit off the beaten...

"This quaint little cottage off of the entrance to Tollymore Forest is perfect to just get away and mend your mental health. I will definitely be there again, perhaps yearly if I can afford it! Jo is easy to contact and is most helpful with everything. Thank you Jo, you are so loved 💚"

"The property owners really care about the property and have remodeled it adding special creative touches throughout. The patio in the back is wonderful and quiet, comfy bed, great view. Full kitchen, clothes washer (no dryer though, be aware). We would definitely stay here again!"

We adored the sea view room, perfect size, massive, comfortable bed and everything you need - a fridge, and wine cooked, tea, coffee etc. breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. "Only small teeny weeny thing that only effected the male sex! The toilet seat did not stay up when needed, but sorted it with a piece of folded toilet paper jammed to keep it up, so no problem. the staff were brilliant and the continental breakfast was great. Nice quiet bedroom and comfy bed. We'll be back. Many thanks Donard staff."

Great value for money.

Definitely worth the stay!!!

"Great find. We only stayed 1 night. When and if we’re the area again I will definitely stay again. Only recommendation I would make as we arrived when getting dark, a bit more signage on the roadside to make it easier to locate. Other than that we’ve no complaints. Pod was first class, stylish modern and very clean."
