The gentleman who checked us in, Curtis, was very welcoming upon arriving and helpful when I needed extra bath supplies at 1:30 a.m. The property was easy to find and good value especially being so close to the University of Alabama campus. Breakfast was good...lots of choices and checkout options were good. Only negative was the one elevator that is a little slow & could use updated. We would definitely stay again!

I was able to park right beside my room and no one bothered me all week. They kept my room stocked with clean towels and coffee as well.

Our first night here we returned to our room to find a massive SWARM of thousands of ants getting into our BAGGED groceries. Had to switch rooms. They switched our room but I was anxious the entire rest of the trip and had housekeeping come every day and vacuum. Furniture and decor is dated but that would have been fine if it wasn’t for the pests. Also like NONE of the outlets worked. Their computer systems went down twice—once while we were getting our key cards fixed (for the THIRD time) and again at checkout.
Staff was friendly with the exception of the manager—I forget his name but it starts with a C. He was short with us at check in for no reason and made us wait 8 minutes until our check in time at exactly noon. Which—if housekeeping was still in there that would be one thing—but they weren’t. And in the time it takes to check in it would have been noon anyway.
Overall, never staying again.

My room smelled bad and was very humid to the point that the bathroom floor was damp. The curtain was broken and didn’t close all the way so there was a bright light from the parking lot shining in all night. I wouldn’t stay here again.
