"Loved the location opposite the Mayo Peace Garden and just 10 mins walk from the hustle of Castlebar. Breakfasts were great but the restaurant menu wasn't easy for me as I'm Gluten and Dairy Free. NO PROBLEM - our lovely waitress chatted with the chef and I had an absolutely delicious Thai curry. Thank you so much for your care and attention. We had a great stay X"

"We had a wonderful stay. We had a kettle for tea or coffee in our room with milk provided and delicious little cookies as well. Hillary, the owner brought us a water in a pitcher and glasses if we were thirsty. Breakfast was delicious with options ranging from a full breakfast to a continental breakfast. "Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money."
