Attractive location
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It has a central location with access to restaurants, the city main plaza, and important cultural attraction such as the Cathedral and the river strip in case one life's to walk.

This place is BUDGET, so I cannot complain. But it was tight for four people. Cheap and walkable. You know what you’re getting. The breakfast deal with the cafe on the corner was great!

Ideal location
Felt this had the basics and prefer the amenities offered here than your traditional hotel. Convenience stores are all walkable along with cafes for breakfast or other meals.

Nice and spatious room. The room located on the top floor was quiet, in spite of it central location in Turku. Minor critique: Some ventilation was constantly running and could not be switched off. Only one of the two windows could be opened, and also this one only tilted for 15 cm. A bit more serious critique: The electrical heater for preparing tea or coffee (using the tea bags or coffee powder nicely provided) did not work and likely is permantly broken.

Good place for one nighters if there are no local youngsters in the other rooms to have their party goig on. Matrasses are a bit "rocky" but one night goes well. Hotel is in the middle of everything and rooms are tecnically okay so thats why it is one option for quick wisit.

Disaster hotel
Disaster hotel. When we checked in we found our room in a complete mess. It wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests, there had been a party in the room and the beds were dirty. We tried to call the help line but it took 30 minutes to get in contact. After that we had to move to a different hotel in a worse location. The room there was not what we paid for. We were told that a manager would call us the day after check in about a refund but no one called and they haven’t answered our e-mail. Avoid this hotel and all Omena hotels.
Our room wasn’t cleaned when we got to the hotel.

Go elsewhere, this is bad.
Starting with the “good” stuff: Location and price. Thats it. Not the not so good stuff: No reception, which is clearly communicated upfront and wouldn’t be an issue if there would be a way to contact customer service in a meaningful way. In this case , speaking to someone costs close to 1 Euro per Minute or you need to message them which, in my case, only worked with loooong delays. The hallway/entrance of the place is shoddy. The bathroom was dirty in arrival ( hair everywhere….), the blankets with stains and there are no black out blinds ( the ones on the only window were too small and let all the light in ). This sounds like a small issue but it isnt in Finnland in the summer. TV didnt work at all, sent a message which took 12 hours to reply to. Promised to fix it which didn’t happen. Not surprised though. All in all: if you are for a cheap, dirty Hotel in Turku with no service at all, this is your place.

Incorrect check-in instruction on the website. No way to check in when arriving unless calling them, which they charge you extra for. There is a telephone inside which you can't reach unless you already managed to get inside, it also does not work/just gives busy tone. They claim Hotels.com had not properly sent the information to them, but also spoke with another guest couple that had booked with another booking website with the same problem, and a third guest that simply said one has to call them. Took nearly 1 hour to check in due to this. Initially got a room that was not cleaned after the previous guest. Seems like the cleaning procedure relies on you putting up a "checked out" sign on the door. Again one has to pay extra to call them to point it out and get a clean room. The second room we got was towards the street and the street noises was very noticeable inside. As one can see in the pictures, the rooms does not have "queen size bed", it is 2 single beds that does not even have a common top mattress, or are even fastened together in some way. They easily slide apart. Armchairs in the room had what looked like exchangeable/washable fabric covers, but they still had a lot of stains. In general also not the best cleaned room. It was difficult to shower without getting most of the bathroom wet. Location was good though. Decent potential, horrible execution.
