A perfect estate to seek peace and quiet, for nature lover or whoever wants a break to relax yet close to outdoor activities and wonderful regional food.

This is a country estate on the edge of a huge nature preserve. Great for walks and decompressing. The rooms are not in the nice large house pictured in the promotional photos, we were told by staff that is the owner's home. Instead you are on the back of a courtyard. It actually works out okay, just don't think you are going to be in a glamorous estate house. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. This is located far from any sizable town or restaurant and very far from Torino which is the popular regional city. So do your touring and dining before coming here. Getting into the property is a bit challenging if you are following Google Maps, it routed us through some unpaved country lanes which were essentially fields. But waking up to the sound of country silence (and occasional farm machinery) was sweet.

Understated excellence
Posted 25 Oct 2017Once admitted, we found our room, or rather suite, to be quiet and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer than one night. The suite had cooking and laundry facilities. Wifi was excellent. Extremely quiet A mile long walk around the grounds past the lake after the dinner we brought from Pinerlo and ate al fresco on the balcony. No traffic noise. Comfortable bedroom. An excellent breakfast with cold meats, cheeses, bakery goods, coffee, expresso machine and more. Highly recommended.

Pros: Clay tennis court
Cons: Shower no curtain and short hose gave you a low shower with water everywhere
Location: 2 miles into Pinerlo, lovely town with 3 top class restaurants. Near foothills of Alps
20 miles west of Turin in countryside outside Pinerlo. Old style country house with courtyard and large apartments. Basic continental breakfast included

Charming and tucked away

Pros: The setting, the building and the grounds.
Cons: Service.
Location: Pinerolo has a few interesting sites, but the surrounding area, heading up into the mountains is spectacular. The fort at Fenestrelle was a highlight
We enjoyed our stay at the Villa - very comfortable and spacious room, beautiful grounds, good breakfast. It is very difficult to find, even armed with maps and Google (we finally had to flag down a policeman who had difficulty figuring out how to get us there). The staff was practically invisible - it was hard to find someone to pay when we had to check out. But for guests who are self-sufficient and want a quiet place in the country but a short drive into the city (once you figure it out), it is a great place to stay!

A perfect short break.
Posted 5 Aug 2012Lovely setting with great facilities, children loved the pool and tennis court. Easy access to the wonderful Turin so we could do City break in the day, returning to countryside and tranquillity later in the afternoon.
