Quiet and clean place with charme
Posted 20 Apr 2019 on HotelsVery friendly place to stay. Quiet, clean and with welcoming owners. Love the old furniture. Great spot just south of Turin. Private, gated, parking too.

Very comfortable, out-of-the-way location with gracious hosts
Posted 29 Jul 2018 on HomeAwayWe stayed here as an overnight stay and were very impressed! The property is located right in the heart of Airasca. It is meticulously maintained with gorgeous antique furniture. The room even has an air conditioner which was a nice treat. There is also a family-run pizza restaurant one block from the property which made for a nice dinner. The on-site morning breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee, juice, pastries, and cereals.

True Italian experience!
Posted 27 Jul 2018In the Italian countryside. We spent one day hiking in the mountains and took the bus into Turin the next for sightseeing. The room is more of a small home furnished in a beautiful old Italian style. Although there is a kitchen advertised, it is not available for b&b guests. No ac was not a problem as the room was cool even when 32 outside. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The owners speak Italian, German and Spanish. Although they don’t speak English we had great conversations using Google Translate! They are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Thank you Christiane for the nice words.
I do not speak English and I'm sorry, when I really need it my daughter helps me, who unfortunately left for the holidays these days
I'm glad you were fine with us, it's a satisfaction that pays us back the time we dedicate to this activity, beautiful, because it gives us the opportunity to meet nice people like you.
Goodbye

Wonderful village hotel close to beautiful Turin
Posted 29 Jun 2018 on Wotif
Pros: Everything
Cons: Maybe a small fridge in each room would be good.
We had a wonderful stay at this family owned and operated village hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very welcoming and the village that surrounds it is authentic and offers some good dining options. It is an easy drive into beautiful Turin that is pleasantly missing the tourist bustle of most other places but not at all lacking in the wow factor. We drove but also understand there is a regular bus service. And the hotel breakfast is great too. If a stay in a village is what you're after then this is highly recommended.

Authentic old world flavor
Posted 5 Jul 2017This B&B is located ~20 min drive from the center of Torino. It's a restored old house that retains its flavor. The manager/owner welcomed us on our very late arrival. He is the sweetest manager I've encountered in my multiple travels.

Posted 13 Apr 2017 on HotelsWe stayed for four nights and the accommodation was absolutely first class. Our room had two levels with a single bed, bathroom and an entrance/living area on the lower level, and a double bed on the upper level. The room was very spacious and clean. The town of Airasca has a small number of places to eat and a supermarket but the surrounding towns include some excellent restaurants, less than 10 minutes away by car. (Having a car is probably a must).
The Casa Del Grande Vecchio is ideally located for heading into Turin, and for exploring the countryside and mountains.
The owners are very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
