Tupelo Bay Golf Center is located among South Carolina’s Grand Strand courses near Murrells Inlet, south of Myrtle Beach. The public golf club provides a selection of challenges to keep players keen on staying at the top of their game. Experienced golfers will find the 18-hole Executive Course with par-4 and par-3 holes a challenge, but not too difficult. Play this par-58 course at night under the lights when temperatures are cooler. Bring the family to the par-3 course or Runaway Bay mini-golf course.
The golf center has one of the country’s top driving ranges, with a 0.75-mile (1.2-kilometer) grass hitting area simulating an actual golf course. Closer to the clubhouse, the putting green has a large sand trap on one side to practice tricky ball recovery maneuvers. Take golf lessons from PGA professionals at the center’s Quick Fix Golf academy.
Play a game of foot golf, also known as soccer golf. The game follows all golf rules but uses soccer balls and large cups for holes. Another variation is disc golf played with plastic discs thrown toward aboveground steel baskets.
With multiple choices, golf can be fun for the whole family. The clubhouse is equipped with a Pro Shop for golf needs and repairs. Enjoy food and beverages from the snack bar.
