Bad location , no microwave , No fridge &no elevator despite clean room.

We have multiple microwaves and fridges available in both our fully equipped guest kitchens. Please feel free to swing by the desk if you have any questions, our desk agents will be happy to point you in the right direction. Our location is a 15-20 minutes walk from the downtown area, or you can use our free 3-day bus pass to get you there in 5-10 minutes.We are so happy to hear you appreciated the cleanliness at our hostel, and hope to welcome you back in future. Like the area and I didn't like the bed, matress was like a rock and not divisions like a curtain that should be mandatory in a mixed bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and clean, lobby is welcoming and warm with a nice view.

We have reviewed the idea of adding curtains to our dorm rooms, however it is not something we plan to change at this point in time but may be reviewed in future. Staff was great, the checkin was fast and reliable. They had many great amenities such as laundry, a cafe, and a bar within the Hostel. The rooms were a little outdated. My problem was the wifi that was horrible, I couldn’t even upload one video. The bathroom that smelled like pee and so did the shower. The shower had hair all over the floor, the hair dryer in women’s bathroom wasn’t working, and while the Chicken sandwich in the cafe was good, the poutine was the worst I had in my life. The gravy tasted weird, the fries were so dark and tasted weird. I can only say good things about the staff that even gave us bus passes. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. And the Hotel is located about 5/ 6 minutes from downtown Banff. Great location and staff. Bathroom should be worked on and some food items.

There is a free 3-day bus pass we provide at the hostel, or if people prefer to walk it is a nice scenic 15/20min walk to Banff Avenue. Friendly and help staff. Nice facility. Bunkbeds and storage were good. Very affordable compared to other Banff options.
