The owner was very kind and offered many good tips on hoe to get around, including a bus schedule for nearby stops, and a map of the surrounding areas and how to walk or arrive there. Once we found the drop off point, it was easy to see the signs pointing the way to the guesthouse.

I arrived at the airport and then they sent me a lot of links and a video trying to explain how I could get to their hotel. It was very complicated explanation and took me a few hours to figure out how to get there (even though it’s just a few miles distance) and after I got there I asked them how I could get to the airport the next day morning, and they said there is no taxi nearby and I can only wait for the bus which comes in unknown time. Since my flight is early next morning there is no way to catch the flight without taking a taxi. So I request for a refund with the host and they rejected me. Then I took a taxi (took me a long time to catch one) to the airport and that costs me 100 Hongkong dollars. The reason I booked this hotel is that in their website it’s saying only 2 miles from the airport, but it’s actually not. The taxi cannot reach to the hotel, we need to follow their instructions they sent and have a long walk (like a puzzle) in a very narrow road. I was very unhappy about this experience and it caused me a lot troubles.

The reviewer have never stayed in our guesthouse, but booked the room for his parents. In his review, there are 3 accusations which are either one-sided or even untrue. 1. Complicated informationMessages were sent to the reviewer after the booking. With no replies, we could only give the link to the information on public transports including taxi, bus and train from the airport, HK port and MTR station both in English and Chinese versions, instead of a specific one that fits his need. 2. No taxi and bus coming in unknown time The reviewer’ parents had their flight departing at around 10:00 am and insisted on checking out at 5:00 am. As we all know, it is not easy to grab a taxi on the road in the very early morning. However, a taxi can be ordered by calling the taxi hotlines. The bus service in Hong Kong is regulated by the government. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to have a public bus coming in unknown time. The morning airport bus S64X is a perfect substitute of taxi. The bus service is scheduled, every 10 to 15 minutes a bus departing from the bus terminus nearby to the airport from 5:00 am to 7:00 am. The bus ride is about 20 minutes. 3. False information on location and puzzle liked pathwayWe have no idea from which website the reviewer visited and got the misleading and false information With reference to Google map, the driving distance and driving time from the airport T1 to the taxi drop off point are 5.9 KM and 10 minutes respectively. The taxi fare is around HKD 80. Our guesthouse is located in the green belt, so no taxi can reach the door. Because guests might overlook this description, an automatic message regarding the 7 minute walk distance is sent right after guests making a booking. With the aid of the directions, signs and video provided, most of our guests find it easy to reach the guesthouse. The roots of the problem were that the reviewer’s parents expected a hotel that juxtaposes the airport and were not well informed about the location and walk distance of our guesthouse. Being inexperienced, they were so panic that they could hardly understand the ways back to the airport in the very early morning we suggested. Knowing that the booking was non refundable, they decided to leave and stay at the airport eventually.Guests are advised to read the detailed information and descriptions on their booking providers and check the messages after making a booking.

Very well signposted from the bus stop. A pleasant change for my last night in HK from the bustle of downtown central and Kowloon. An easy bus ride to the airport. Terry will go the extra mile with details and photos to help you find your way around. A nice sleep and a short, painless early morning trip to catch my flight.

Th location is very inconvenient. It took me about 10 minutes to reach destination from the entrance. The path is rough and narrow. If your baggage is big and heavy, don't choose the City Oasis Guesthouse. And there is a tomb in the way to guesthouse. It made me a little horrible as I passed the house. However the guesthouse is clean and pretty and the owner is nice and helpful. He helped me bring the baggage to guesthouse and gave me a map to get to many important travel areas
