Off Beach, maintenance issues but spacious
Posted 20 Mar 2018 on HotelsBig and beautiful with multiple maintenance issues.
One-way streets not marked, a drive to the beach. Well appointed kitchen but minimal hot water, none at all in one half. An alarm clock a few doors away was on for 3 days.

Good but this is not Hotel Zama
Posted 4 Mar 2018Overall the apartment was very good, it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lenin provided excellent service and was prompt with requests. There were a few minor issues like lack of toilet paper or the holders that were fixed promptly the next day. The washer did not work and was not fixed while we were there, however the hotel staff offered to get our towels and clothes laundered for free.
The main reason I gave this place three stars is that Expedia displayed reviews of Hotel Zama which is right on the beach when I was trying to book Zama Village, I did realize this after the booking but could not do anything because the booking was non refundable. This complex is 2+ kilometers from the beach.

Clean condo in a quiet location
Posted 18 Feb 2018 on HomeAwayWe loved the quiet location, far from the crowd of the beach. The property manager Lenny was very helpfull for us. Some basic maintenance would be required to make it a 5 stars: Maintenance of the AC, kitchen Equipment, bathroom maintenance.

Nice apartment close to the beach
Posted 16 Feb 2018
Location: We watched the Superbowl at Mateo's restaurant which was really fun. They have delicious food and fun atmosphere.
We rented a two bedroom apartment/condo in Zama Village which had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our one-week stay. We had been communicating with Lenin prior to our arrival and he met us promptly upon our arrival to Zama Village and showed us the apartment. He was very efficient, informative, and courteous. Zama is a large complex with a lot of construction going on, however, the majority of the time it was quiet enough for us to enjoy. Within the complex there is a small store and a restaurant called the Chacabar which we ate at a couple of times. Excellent food and pizza at very reasonable prices. We toured a few condos under construction with Ignacio who was also very friendly; no pressure whatsoever; we requested the tour.
The beach is very close with the spectacular colors of the Caribbean water. My husband enjoyed riding the waves. Also this is very close to the Tulum ruins. We had a car, but the parking gets crowded after about 12 pm. We also rode bikes to the beach one day which wasn't far at all. We went to Poc-Na beach club two days which was very nice; great food and nice shaded beach beds. Also went to the public section, which was fine except we had no chairs. Dined at the Mezzanine restaurant right nearby with a beautiful view; delicious Thai menu, but other items as well. Also went there for breakfast one morning which was really nice. We tried Ziggy's beach club one day. Shaded beach beds are complimentary with $60 food/drink minimum.

Didn't like location. Always driving
Posted 18 Oct 2016Air conditioners didn't work right. To far from beach. Visited beach at Maria Del Mar we would told we could go there. They told us to leave we brought our own drinks. I would never go to that dump again. Our condo pool was nice. I would rather have a nice all inclusive on the beach
