We really really liked that place! We went with the kids and it was super! The location is really nice, there's a shared kitchen and living room, the staff is really nice and we felt a little bit like home! You can walk in the principal street of Tulum where there's a lot of restaurants and shops. Don't except to be in a 4-stars hotel and you will really enjoy the place!

Super friendly people. Great management, but the sheets were cheap and not the right size and kept pulling off the bed. Steps to the bathroom could be slippery at times, and I was afraid I might fall, especially during the night.

Country in the city

Posted 20 Feb 2018 on Hotels
Audrey was a welcoming hostess. A breakfast of waffles or pancakes, fruit, juice, & coffee is included. A shared kitchen is spacious, clean, and well equipped. Our cabana was a disappointment. The door didn’t fit and the mosquito net around the bed wasn’t effective as we needed the fan to keep cool and it blew the netting open. The shared bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. The courtyard was lovely with lots of foliage to provide shade, and lawn chairs and a small table at every cabana. We loved the area and it was easy to take a bus to the beach.

Great location

Perfect location if arriving by bus. Place is charming. I had a little casita. Shared bathrooms a few steps away. Great for price. Only issue is people talking loudly at tables near kitchen pretty late which was annoying.

Friendly hostel

Really nice hostel. We stayed in private room with own bathroom. Breakfast was good. Friendly owners and staff. 15 min walk to town. Collectivos available to get to the beach. From ADO bus station, face the road and turn right, 10-15 min walk, just past the little hospital.

Breakfast is excellent

Posted 23 Aug 2017
This place is a bit out of town, but a 10-15 min walk to all of the main shops, restaurants and bars. You can rent bikes from next door, also a few doors down do your laundry for cheap. Staff here were really friendly and helpful, made an amazing breakfast. We stayed in a cabana, which is cheap but tiny and baking hot!

Que Bueno!

Posted 13 Mar 2017
Pros: Everything. Walk to it all... parking for our rental... relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: The shower head, last on the left needs replacing.
Location: Right at the commercial end of Ave Tulum heading south (on the right and easy to spot at night with the lights wrapped around two palms)Barracuda eat!
One could tell from the few scant photos RT has posted on Expedia that this was the kind of place we wanted to stay in Tulum a. because it was very affordable and b. it looked awesome fun for our 8year old to get lost in. The jungle courtyard was so much more lush than I thought it was going to be, very, very well kept up and SOOOO relaxing with a curving path leading past a group hammock station to a covered dining area and an open breezy dining hall/reception. Colorful paint abounding, lizards and bats scooting and a sonorous chorus of tropical birds to wake us each morning. Pancake or waffle and fruit breaky each a.m. and smiles, smiles, smiles.... Avery and Audrey were so welcoming as was Bella and Snacks! We had a great stay. And when, at the annual start date of a Mayan festival taking place on the Zocalo (our last night there), which comes with perhaps the very loudest public broadcast of sound I've ever heard - even loud by Mexican standards I'd say, who had three pair of earplugs waiting for us at our cabana door when we returned earlier in the day??? Our wonderful, thoughtful hosts. THANK YOU FOR THOSE! They helped! Highly recommend if you enjoy saving some $$$ as well as the international hosteling vibe on tap here. Great fun.

Hi there! We are glad that we could help you enjoy your stay. Yes, the music is amazingly loud, and earplugs are the least we can do. If you're not out enjoying the festivities, you are trying to ignore them in your room. We truly enjoyed having you stay with us, and we were happy to provide movie night for the kiddo! All our best!

Super helpful stall

Pros: The friendly, accommodating staff.
Cons: More hooks in the cabañas for hanging cloths etc.
Location: At one end of town, but town is small, so you can walk to anything you need. Shopping, food, bars and transport to the beach are all close.
Great jungle atmosphere in the city. Amazing free breakfast of pancakes or waffles with a variety of fresh fruits. And your hosts are always checking to see if you are happy or need anything. Spot on referrals for bike rental, BBQ chicken and even a dentist. Good age range of guests from all over the world providing a chill social vibe.
