I recently stayed at Hotel Piedra Escondida in Tulum, and I can’t say enough good things about this charming, small hotel. With only 10 rooms, it offers an intimate, tropical vibe that feels like a hidden paradise. The property is incredibly well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and the service is absolutely top-notch.
Martin, the manager, truly went above and beyond to accommodate all our special requests, making our stay even more memorable. This was my third time visiting Tulum, but my first experience staying in this quieter part of the hotel zone, near the ruins and the public beach. It’s such a peaceful area, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the south side.
The only minor downside is that the beach here isn’t as stunning as some others in Tulum, but that’s not a big issue since you can always visit one of the many beach clubs nearby. For the price, the excellent service, and the overall experience, this hotel is absolutely worth it.
To top it all off, the food is delicious, and the included breakfast was a wonderful way to start each day. I highly recommend Hotel Piedra Escondida for anyone looking for a tranquil, high-quality stay in Tulum. I’ll definitely be back!

CONS:
no fridge and tv in the room, bath shower is not strong, servers a little slow on the orders and if you don’t tip them every beer you ask they make no effort to attend you.
PROS:
Private beach, good food, everything clean and awesome room service, ac works really good, wifi on point and a lot to do around the hotel

Everything about the hotel was amazing. It feels like an oasis in a busy area.
The rooms had everything we needed and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great.
The complementary breakfast, coffee and daily juice was very good. You choose from multiple different dishes and the portions are definitely filling. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck and eating every morning right on the ocean.
The chairs and umbrellas are reserved for hotel guests only so there always somewhere to sit.
10/10 recommend this hotel. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be staying there again.

Estimado Marco, agradecemos el tiempo tomado en evaluarnos, sin duda alguna un poco más de información sobre la experiencia hubiese sido de mucha ayuda para conocer el criterio en esa evaluación; a decir verdad esperábamos algo similar a esto después de ver su descontento por la habitación asignada, sin embargo tal como les comentamos, fue la habitación que ustedes habían reservado, y si bien en el pasado ya se habían hospedado con nosotros, fue un tipo de habitación diferente la que se había reservado, no obstante por disponibilidad en esa ocasión se les otorgo un "free upgrade" a una habitación superior.Para Piedra Escondida son importantes todos los comentarios de nuestros huéspedes, sin embargo no somos responsables de que se haya reservado una habitación con características específicas y que solo por no haber otorgado la habitación que ustedes deseaban, se nos califique de esa manera.Agradecemos su tiempo.
