Everything was fine, but could use new beds. These were extremely hard and worn. Uncomfortable to say the least.

Was pleasantly surprised. Room pretty clean, good staff. Only bad thing was the bed was very hard and sqeaked when you moved.

We did want you to know that we just put metal bed frames in all of our rooms and gotten rid of the boxsprings, so with the different weight levels and as the beds get used we are having to adjust some of the frames. As you know we booked and paid through Expedia. Upon arrival My husband was asked for his ID and card. He thought it was to verify the card used. He was charged $100 refundable fee without our knowledge upon entering the room. There were a couple roaches on the wall Behind the TV as well in the bathroom, which I killed, there was hair in the tub the bed smelled. we were too tired to go somewhere else and we did not have the funds to go somewhere else. They took extra money check out would be refunded by 11:15 and it would take 2-3 business days to receive the money. Frustrating is putting it mild!

Mrs. Buchanan,Let's start off by saying that we did not take any extra monies from you. On Expedia it does state more than once that a deposit for incidentals is required at the time of check in. It is not the fault of the hotel if you did not properly read the requirement for the incidental deposit hence putting in a bad review. When you came to check out the only issue you had was the incidental deposit and not knowing about it, you said nothing about any other issues/concerns regarding your room. Why would you stay in a room if it had roaches, or the bed smelled?? A courtesy call was made upon you checking in and you stated that everything was fine with your room. If at any time you had any issues/concerns with your room if you would have brought it to our attention we would have taken care of it immediately or we could have moved you to a different room because guest satisfaction is very important to us. The room was great. Up to date. Not perfect but nice. The bath tub was very old and stained horribly. My wife refused to use it. The bed was the absolute worst bed we have ever slept on, period. The first night was horrendous. The mattress was very lumpy. The spings squeaked and squaked at every single move made and the gawd awful "ka-doing" sound made it impossible to sleep. All of those noises were extremely amplified by the vinyl flooring. Worst night sleep and the next morning our backs hurt so bad we almost searched for a local chiropractor. We even considered checking out 3 days early. Talked to the desk clerk who was very sympathetic and sent maintenance to the room at some point that day while we were gone. We were very hesitant about spending another night but thought we would give it a second chance. Maintenance did something to the bed as it was no longer lumpy and didn't squeak or squawk at every move. It was almost tolerable except for when one of us would get up that gawd awful "ga-doing" noise was still there so any major move it would make the noise It was literally like sleeping on two metal filing cabinets. We got so little sleep that we checked out over 30 hours early at the cost of no refund for the unused day and night just so we could break up the 10 hour drive home because we knew we wouldn't make it home if we would have left when we had originally planned. Going to those metal bed frames was a horrible idea especially when you need mattresses.

Mr. Brooks,Upon reading your review we did go and check the tub because you writing that the tub was very old and stained horribly is not true. It is not stained. What we saw is the color of the poxy is fading. We do re-epoxy all of our tubs every 3 years during the winter months. We also wanted you to know that we use to have mattresses and boxsprings but have recently gone to metal frames and taken out just the boxsprings. So, our beds do not have springs but they do have mattresses. Due to the metal frames being brand knew and just installed we do sometimes have to make adjustments to the frames after being used by numerous guests. Mr. Brooks, if at any time during any guests stay if anyone has any issues/concerns if they bring it to our attention we will take care of it immediately, just like we did with you once you let us know of the frame making noises.We do appreciate your business.
