I liked the pools and the room was amazing but I didn’t like the area around the resort

Dear Abib,Thank you for the review. It is great to hear that you liked the resort and the room. The area is amazing for diving and relaxation and does not fit guests that had in mind to party or do shopping. This area is still very authentic with beautiful ocean and volcano view. Other than diving, relaxing, enjoying the view, visiting beautiful places in the area and getting a great spa treatment, there is not much else to do. We are located close to some of the best dive sites in Bali, which makes our location as a Dive and Spa resort just perfect. This area is also great for visiting temples, water palaces, traditional markets, coffee plantations, rice fields and much more. Excellent place to stay, in every respect. The food was excellent and well priced. Also very convenient for those diving with Bali Dive. I would return in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing. Only bad thing is no hot water for shower. Everything else was perfect

These property grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed some snacks and dinner with no complaints. Unfortunately, we had two orders of uncooked pancakes in the morning. We were diving that morning and had a second order of pancakes ordered but they were also uncooked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would come back again.

Great to hear that you enjoyed your snacks and dinner in our beach front restaurant, although I'm sorry to hear about your uncooked pancakes for breakfast. We are trying to help the local community by offering training in different departments of our resort, for school children in the close by villages. We had a meeting about the pancake issue with our kitchen team and we will make sure to supervise our trainees closer. The complex is very nice, but be aware that next to the restaurant there are open air fires every day. This is not the fault of the hotel, however, it is a matter of great concern. I was there for one week and ate there every day, as there were no other restaurants nearby. We were able to eat without smoking only two times. Locals are burning their trash.

Dear Danielle,Thank you for the feedback. We are happy to see that you liked our beautiful resort. At the same time, we truly apologize the issue with the smoke coming from our neighbor. We are located on the beach in a fishing village, and sometimes the villagers are making up fire to bbq their catch. This takes place behind our restaurant. When making fire for bbq, the locals are using dry coconut shells instead of coal. The dry coconut shells makes up quite some smoke, and if the wind blows from the "wrong" direction, we get too much of in into our restaurant. Unfortunately, this is an issue for most of the beach hotels in Bali, as the garden and the restaurants are open air. )We are working hard to find a solution for this inconvenience.Kindly,Nicole and the Bali Dive team
