Overall the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was excellent with quality food and friendly staff. The negative is the parking situation, with the NCP car park recommended by the hotel costing a shocking £29.00 for an overnight stay ( Arrived at 18:00 and departed at 08:00 the next day). As someone who travels around the UK for my job, this was extortionate and the highest price I have paid for overnight parking recommended by a hotel. Would put me off staying here in future, which is unfortunate.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the station. It was a lovely hotel with huge rooms and excellent service. Breakfast was also excellent.

Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Loved tea options with regular teacups and saucers.

Lovely hotel close to Cambridge station (25min walk to town centre)
Pros
Clean
Great shower and fully towels
Good selection of hot drinks in the room, although not topped up.
Nice decor
Lovely breakfast
Cons
Long queues at reception
No safe in room
Limited toiletries (shampoo and shower gel no conditioner or body lotion)
