"Great apartment, catered to everything you needed. Particularly appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine tablets and the hairdryer. It’s in a very good location, close to the bus stops, the shops in the centre and the Radisson blue where lots of the tours go from. Check in and out very easy, and efficient. "

"Our check in wasn’t easy. We were given keypad codes for the building and our room but what wasn’t explained was that you had to use the larger keypad to put your room code in so that you could get your door key. In the apartment, everything was provided but out of the 6 glass tumblers we had, 4 had chips on the edge of the glass which was dangerous. We reported it to Reception staff and they changed them straight away which was good! The cutlery drawer needed to be wiped of crumbs but other...

"This is a beautiful hotel with modern rooms, coffee makers, and made service every day. To take advantage of the wonderful spa while you were there. I think the price is a little high, but it’s definitely worth it. My only observation negative is that it is a 1/2 to 1 mile walk to the shopping and restaurant areas. This may not sound far, but when it’s the dead of winter and dark outside, it is a consideration. Taxis in this city or quite expensive."

"Great location. Stayed in a superior apartment, had everything I needed, friendly staff at check in"

"Our stay was great. The apartment was clean and modern. Very convenient to have a kitchenette and washing machine. The place is above a great bakery, several grocery stores and other restaurants nearby. A bus stop is right there as well. We thought it was a great value for what we got. Only problem was the check -in, we never received the key box code, but a staff member came out and got us the keys."

"Apartment is pretty, as per the pictures. Unfortunately there is zero noise insulation and you simply cannot be here and relax due to people in the other units coming and going day and night, the latter for northern light trips. There is zero on site support, despite advertising front desk being open during the day. Even before the trip we couldn't get hold of the manager and neither could Hotels.com. No info provided. The manager is slow to get back to any text and doesn't answer his phone. He...

"A stylish hotel in beautiful surroundings. We loved staying here as it is well presented and comfortable. We were made to feel v welcome. Alvin went out of his way to make sure we had a brilliant evening and the cooking by Nina was excellent. Local produce, tasty and felt like home cooked food of top restaurant standard. Would highly recommend. "

"An igloo is always a treat - being out in nature without being out in harsh weather - and this one was warm, clean, comfortable, well-designed (especially the bath), and positioned for beautiful views of water and mountains. The host was attentive, and gave us ways to contact him if there were any problems. The only thing lacking (for us) were any sort of curtains for the central area. "We ended up staying in a shipping container converted into a room. It was quite small and cramped. The windows were not equipped for wind, and there was constant banging on our windows all night. The place was somewhat hard to find - inadequate instructions. Finally, the place itself feels quite spooky, especially when other people aren’t walking around."

"It was in a convenient location and had a lovely cosy lounge and bar area. The view from our room overlooking cable car was beautiful. Rooms are not very big so be mindful of sharing a twin room although there were lots of hooks etc for jackets and clothes. I think it was missing a kettle .. be Great to come in after a cold day and make a tea. You don’t need to supply the tea but be great if you supplied a kettle"

"Lovely stay at Quality Hotel Saga. Hotel is in a perfect location, walkable to most parts of the centre of Tromso. Room was a little basic but fine for our needs. Breakfast lovely with good choice and all staff were very helpful. Would recommend. "

"I had emailed in advance about early check in and understood it was based on availability. The rooms became available while I was sitting in the lobby. Would've been nice if someone had mentioned it to me as I was right next to them. That's my only complaint. Everything else was exceptional! "

"Amazing, highly recommend. Beautiful setting, incredible food, really lovely staff. The room was warm and cosy. We particularly loved using the sauna and jumping in the sea. It was a picture perfect place to see the northern lights. We would highly recommend this stay! "

"Very cozy mini apartments. Well stocked kitchenette (appliances, plates, pans, etc). Comfy bed. Next door to a large grocery store and centrally located. A laundry room was a plus. Nice gym that we didn’t use- no room for gym shoes in our luggage. Very secure with in-app key access to building and apartment. "
