"Absolutely fantastic hotel. Perfect location, very comfortable and staff who were so accommodating. This was our first trip to Norway and we were not disappointed. The location of the hotel was amazing and we paid for a sea view room (recommended) which would oversee the Arctic Church and the huge mountain stood alongside. "The location is great, with a view of the harbour from the ground floor dining area and the rooftop jacuzzi. They offer complimentary light dinner and fika (afternoon snack, usually cake) on top of the braekfast. Food quality was only ok most of the time, but it was fine. They do charge for the jacuzzi, but the sauna and gym are free. When we checked in we had to wait for 15 minutes because reception was inexplicably empty, but when they were there they were generally helpful. Room was standard...

"Clean, modern hotel in a central location. We stayed in a family room (2 singles pushed together plus a bunk), which was pretty tight but also standard for many cities in Europe. Hotel interior is lovely and buffet breakfast was excellent."
