Super clean, very nice room with gorgeous view, extremely kind and friendly service, fantastic location right next to a beach and several nice restaurants. Great coffee in the common area, a wonderful ambiance and comfortable experience, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is dated. The airconditioner in my room did not work. The service people came quickly but the problem was not repaired. I understand these things happen. I was only there 2 nights. I would go back and stay again.

€300 per room card hold!

Stayed many times previously no welcome back/drink or upgrade, fair enough. Booked several months previously and apparently after I had booked they had changed the room card deposit/hot from €100 per room to €300 per room! This is for a €120 night hotel. Last time I stayed my room deposit sat in pending for a month untk it finally dropped back into my account. No way was I giving them €600 (two rooms) to hold until they decide to return it! I am a gold member and stay in many hotels all over the world and the biggest deposit I have ever been asked to pay is £150, so why they are asking everyone for €300 is beyond me. The hotel was having major renovation and all day banging drilling and painting, the lift out of action. Because I refused to give the deposit as I wasn’t previously informed they then demanded I left my passport with them. They treat customers like criminals and apart from the majority of the staff being amazing especially the breakfast staff and gizzelle in housekeeping a brilliant location I will not be staying again.

Dear Helen,We thank you for your comment and can clarify a few points as was the case when you arrived.The hotel was actually fully booked, that the reason why we couldn't offer you an upgrade. We have offered you 1 ticket valid for a cocktail per person due to the work currently being carried out in the establishment, which is taking place during the week, i.e. half an hour when you arrive, as the work was finished by 3pm, and next Monday and Tuesday. In addition, the works have been advertised on our website and all communications media since January 2024.With regard to pre-authorisation, you can find our terms and conditions of sale, which were updated in March, on the website where you made your booking. As your booking was made before this update, we informed you of it when you arrived. Following your refusal, we must still have a deposit for your stay, hence our proposal to leave a passport in exchange instead of the bank guarantee. This is a common procedure in many hotels throughout the world.We remain at your disposal should you require any further information.Yours faithfullyLa Pagerie**** Team

Loved the location, staff, comfort of room, nice quality linens and bedding. My room, 418 needs renovations. I understand there are other rooms that are in much better condition. If I were to come back, I'd ask for a renovated room. Special kudos: the breakfast staff, especially the manager are outstanding. Loic at the front desk is wonderful:)

I enjoyed my stay here. I asked for a quiet room and got one. I didn't hear much from the street. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything you need is a close walk.

Noisy and Rude Staff

Quite simply the noisiest hotel ever stayed in...and also the reception staff where not particularly friendly and accomodating Pre-arrival I contacted the hotel and asked for a quite room - no response. On checkin I aaked again amd the response wa 'the room alloated is normally ok'. Actually the room was above an ice cream / cafe and alao above the hotel restaurant/breakfast room so double whamy - dragging chairs and moving furniture until 12.30am only for it to start again at 07.00 in the morning with dragging furniture, tipping cuttlery into trays... So... do not stay here if you want to relax and enjoy a good nights sleep - it simply won't happen. Staff generally treat you like you are trying to rob the place - from panicking that trying to get away without paying for breakfast (becasue they cannot find you in the breakfast room) and standing over you whilst another fetches the bill.. As for Pool Towels....No possibility for 2 days to change wet pool towels - told no twice on consequtive days. First day was a flat blank no despite having the towels 2 days and they being wet. Second day, the first comment was no because you are checking out today even though we had been told it was ok to use the pool as our flight was not until 20h. The response was no you can keep the wet used towels.. Then another receptionsit told us there were no towels.. Actually they have issues to wash them and people steal them - implying i wanted to steal them... 4*? 4*shocking attitude

They should have informed you that in this season the hotel is almost always fully book, and it is not possible to change from a room type to another at check-in. In your case, for guests that are looking for very quiet room we suggest a Comfort Garden View which have a small balcony overlooking our tropical garden. All our Classic Room, the room type that you booked, are located on the first or second floor, and all have a view on the main commercial road. We will check with reception staff for a better communications in order to avoid any misunderstanding next time.Furthermore we take into account your feedback regarding the misunderstanding with the staff. We are very sorry if you perceived it as rude and unfriendly.Firstly concerning breakfast we ask to all guest without a reservation, to sign in order to validate the transfer it on the room account. Secondly when the hotel is full like in this period it is difficult to clean the pool towels quick enough, for this reason we ask to our guest to try to change them each 48h. A draying rack is put on the balcony of each room, so they can dry during the night. Please note that these procedures are established in order to provide a better service to our guest. Sincerely,
