Such a lovely place - Will absolutely return to!
Posted 8 Jul 2024 on HotelsStaying at Villa Vager was such a great experience. The buildings themselves were gorgeous and nicely renovated with amenities. The included breakfast was cooked and served by the hosts, and it was one of the best breakfasts we had in Greece. Homemade jams, local bakery goods, freshly cooked eggs - the jams were so good we wanted to bring some home with us! The hosts were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations on where to go, based on what we wanted to see.
Villa Vager has a really great medieval (but modern!) B&B feel to it. There were a couple of other more hotel-style places to stay in the area that we had friends at, but I'm glad we stayed here instead. It was so much more personal and comfortable.

Had a verry nice stay while visiting family in the area. Beautiful property, delicious and plentiful breakfast (loved the home made preserves). Very comfortable accommodation and amenities. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Hidden gem in the village
Posted 16 May 2023 on HotelsAs my wife says, it is like being part of a story book. This hotel was originally a house built in 1843 and the family that owns it did a superb job of renovation. We stayed in a triple room for family of three. It is like staying in an ancient castle with all modern amenities. The host family were very friendly. Complementary breakfast was great. We sat outside to watch the beautiful view of the village below and mountains. Would definitely stay again.

The building is nice and especially the living room. Beyond that, the price of the room in relation to what the hotel offers is extremely high. Basic lacks of the room I stayed in, had no mini bar, no wardrobe so you could hang clothes (shirts, jackets, etc.). Also, the room had an extremely small window with no view at all, for sure is not recommended for claustrophobic people

Dear Mr Syrigos,
At the discounted price you payed for this room you knew that there was no possibility to choose a specific room. You asked for another room at the time of the booking and we informed you that you could not get it through Expedia reservation. You also knew that your room would be the Cave Suite and you could see from our site the photos of the room in order to know what to expect. As for the price the 116 euros/night that we were paid through Expedia in your case (the rest is commission to Expedia and taxes), I don't think that it was a lot. As for the mini bar it is not mentioned anywhere that there is one. We understand that you might not liked the room , we are so sorry for this but you knew all the above more than a month before coming to the hotel. You had also more than a month to cancel the reservation as you insisted on a different suite. Only through our site we can give a specific room.
Lastly no hat of your daughters was found in the hotel.

Lovely inn in the mountain area north of Tripoli. Hosts were very welcoming. Food excellent. Bed comfortable and the bathroom modern and well appointed. We had a delicious home cooked meal one night and couldn’t have been happier. Would definitely return
