The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino
5/5 Excellent
"the hotel property and facilities are great, the service over the top. The beds are very hard but they accommodated us with mattress toppers which helped. Only draw back is the wine prices are over the top for what the wines are and i know a profit is needed but not three times the value. A average wine ( by any measure ) costs some 2-300 euros- ridiculous and as well they cannot make a regular alcoholic drink ( as is typical in many European hotels) so just buy beer. Also never saw the tiniest scoop of ice cream for 4.5 euro as if they would go broke from a full scoop. The restaurant food was average in the steak house, very good in italian and lebanese and breakfast buffet is fantastic. The value for the money spent is not as good as in Athens, Mykonons, Santorini or Rhodes but the stay was very nice overall."
