Family friendly Hotels in Triffa, Djerba Midun

"Overall fantastic. A bit of difficulties at first but later things got much better and me and my wife enjoyed our stay and we wished it lasted longer. The lady at the room service was absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful, providing us with info about Houmt Esouk. She makes this hotel proud. Mostafa, the room service was friendlier too. The food is absolutely delicious and to our taste. The hotel layout is out of this world and amazing. The swimming pools are very nicely maintained and the beach too with its lounge. I have walked along the beach to look at the other hotels but Plaza Hotel remained outstandingly nicer. Our balcony overlooks the side of the pool but the sea was right in front of us and it was nice waking up to that. I liked very much so the peace and quiet and the ability to sleep without any disturbances. The reception staff were also helpful and so was the guest relation gentleman who was all ears to any concerns. I spoke to many residents and they all share the same views and many of them if not all, it was not their first time there. Although I like the change but I would definitely go back there. I think they could do more to publicise their services as this is not well reflected on the website. I am surprised that I could not see English people in that hotel but from conversations we had with some at the airport on our return, we stayed at the best hotel. "

"The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Kudos especially to our "personal" waiter, Sammy who made sure our table was resdy each evening and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. This was our second visit to Seabel Rym Beach, and we have not been disappointed at all. Check in was a bit tedious as our request for accessible/disabled rooms was not noted, but the hotel was quick to remedy and the following day we were moved to the correct rooms. The menu was varied each night and while breakfast was a bit mundane, our chef at the omelet station was on point and had my omelet and fresh fried beignette ready as soo as i arrived. Sadly he was not working on mu last day so that i could reward his service properly. The pool is wonderful, and while the fight for lounge chairs was tedious, the sun and coll waters made up for it."

"Good option if you’re looking to save some $. The staff is nice especially the front desk lady Ms Zakia, she was helpful throughout our stay. The equipment in the hotel could however use some upgrade for the fees they're charging. The wifi wasn't available in our room if you need to use it you had to go at the pool which is kinda backward."

"We’ve been in Djerba for only 5 days and we booked up at last minute. Food was amazing, excellent variety at the buffet, mainly traditional Tunisian food. The all inclusive included only soft drinks but with a little extra $ you could have local alcoholic beverages but honestly didn’t worth it! (Tap beer and strong liquor are not good) You end up paying to get bottled beer. Nice bar service at the pool close to the beach. General cleanest is excellent at the room, bathroom room and buffet. With less then 20 dinars you can go everywhere on the island. Would definitely go back to Mouradi Djerba!"

"After visiting serval cities and hotels, this was my favorite stay in Tunisia. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I had a nice view of the courtyard. The breakfast spread was very plentiful and delicious. I will say one area of improvement would be the front desk staff, not very friendly and seemed a bit racist ( would put on all smiles and great service for white Europeans). "

"Worst experience ever ruined by their receptionist Mr Maher Klaibi. I was with my friend, and I spoke with him in arabic he didn't welcome us in a proper way. I made the reservation 1h before heading there, and he tried his best to do not give to us a room beside the booking was confirmed and paid. He was mentioning that we had to pay twice, as he had a bad issue with booking through Expedia and Booking. He said also that he couldn't see that our booking went through from their system. ( generally it takes 30 min everywhere in the world, I never had an issue with last minute booking). When I told him that I will speak with customer service about paying twice and denied check in, he changed behavior and start to be nice and gentle. When the agent contacted him to clarify the situation, he been really kind to me and start to fake smile and acting as a different person. I never been discriminated in my life but here. That's a shame, the hotel wasn't bad. Exept him, everyone nice. I still don't understand the misbehaving of Mr Klaibi to us. "
