The employees weere great. Location is perfect but fornthe price I paid for and the condition of the room, I could have stay somewhere closer to the water. The room was in bad condtion, ac was broken but still blew air. The walls, celing and fan was caked with dirt and dusty. You get an iron and a fridge. Their were garbage in plants in the main lobby, someone even left their socks on the railing.The cable stopped working never came back on. I was really excited to stay here based on the photos.

Any stars given in this review are solely based on the front desk clerk who was wonderful and because this is a great neighborhood. Also, there isn’t a way to leave negative stars for cleanliness.

Beautiful 222 year old slave quarters/mansion with a friendly and colorful staff but the towels, tub, shower, walls, bed sheets, blankets, bathroom floor, etc. were filthy ...

The staff was very welcoming and gave wonderful advice on places to dine and visit. Room was super clean. Very quiet!!

We LOVED the staff who were so helpful and friendly. They made us feel so welcome and were so kind to us. They also gave us really clear instructions for our late arrival so it was super easy to get in and find the room.

The room was really dirty- dust piled up on the lamps, lampshades, ceiling fan. The bathroom was really run down, worse than any even bathrooms at any campsite I've stayed at. The bed was not comfortable. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. I set my hand on the wall and there was a random gooey spot left there? To top it off, my wife found dried orange/brown chunks on the comforter (likely dried vomit from a previous guest). They did refund our stay, but I wouldn't stay there again if I was paid.
