You made a reservation with a 3rd party company. You received a confirmation with your stay dates. How were the hotel employees supposed to know that you "thought" you reserved additional nights. Reviewing the hotel poorly based on your choice to not pay attention to your reservation is no fault of the hotel or its staff.
