Amazing stay! The staff are very attentive and the animals at the property add a very nice touch. You can tell that the owners truly care. We did have one issue, which was that we were served gluten by mistake, but the staff handled it very professionally. Overall, I would highly recommend and we will come back!

Staying at Ballyseede was one of the highlights of our Ireland trip. The rooms and property were beautiful and the staff was wonderful! Extra added bonus was their 2 adorable Irish Wolfhounds who you would find in different areas around the castle. Would highly recommend!

Moved out and left a pair of shoes in the closet. I contacted the property a day after but they are unresponsive. A bit of a disappointment.
Of the 30 acres little but around the buildings is usable to guests and having been in the hospitality industry I found the grounds around the parking were unkept and views of dumped flowers of past weddings, tarps and equipment in woods immediate to parking.
Though exquisite in public space, no art in the room. Rooms lacking in furnishings and poor lighting design.
Don’t mean to discourage travelers who wish the experience of staying in the Ballyseede but found it to be more of a high end and refined event location.
The staff and services were excellent and while staying attentive and responsive.

I’m pleased to hear that you found our public spaces, team, and services to be excellent, as we strive to provide a welcoming and memorable experience for all our guests.Regarding your lost shoes, I'm glad we were able to locate them for you. Following our phone conversation where you informed me that you had left behind. I called you back within 30 minutes of our initial call the phone went to voicemail and i left a message, as you requested i do this. I'm sorry if there was any misunderstanding or if you were expecting a different type of follow-up. We do still have them here, i was awaiting a call back from you after the message.I was surprised to read your additional comments about the grounds and room, as these were not mentioned during your stay or when we spoke. This kind of feedback is out of the ordinary for us, as we typically receive positive remarks about these aspects of our property. When wedding groups or florists are moving flowers they can bring items outside while trying to load them into cars but staff wouldn't leave them outside ourselves, we do have staff that regularly patrol the outside areas and try to keep it as clean as possible.there is a woodland walk to the side of the castle as well that we have outlined at reception which covers a lot more ground as well.Thank you again for your comments and for your time.
