So turned up and there was no power for hours. Was advertised free wifi, couldnt get it to work so called them. The motel roomd are 5 star rated for cyclones so cant get wifi. No problems. Next day get a call from them asking for a $200 deposit as im a local because locals have been punching holes in the walls. They are concrete walls that you can't even get wifi through.

Very basic but clean. Arrived after hours was given instructions to get in prior to arrival & had no issues. Would’ve liked more milk supplied in the fridge but supplies are a bare minimum in most motels these days which can be an issue with out of after hours arrival & leaving.

The motel is in an excellent position on the northern end of the Strand. Parked 2 kms up the road in an all day parking spot to catch the ferry to Magnetic Island. Terrific value!

A perfect place for one day or one month.
This is a cozy charming place. The apartment I had (#11) was facing the ocean and had a grass private lawn. The other units not facing the ocean do not have this. Included is a basic kitchenette.

The property was priced well and right on the Strand which is what attracted me. The rooms are very dated and the walls are paper thin so cars coming and going and the next room's tv was quite annoying. Definitely value for money but the rooms could do with a lift.
