Good location but couldn’t access pool at all during my stay as one family occupied the pool area for the entire day and night the pool area was too small to share with this family of five
Very noisy location didn’t get a good sleep

Thank you for your review Michelle, We are very sorry you have not enjoyed your stay. The budget room is downstairs behind the office but we do have many other room types that are renovated and more spacious. Unfortunately we cannot increase the size of the pool area but quite often there is not many people in there so this was unlucky timing. Next time please pop in to reception and we can chat to you about other options.

Renovated rooms, however the bunk beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, I had a sore neck every morning. The pool is also extremely small with no room to lay down.

Thanks for the feed back appreciate your comments. As everyone has a different comfort level pillows can be tricky, if you are used to a certain pillow as I do, I travel with my own. Whilst we do choose a middle of the range between firm and plush people always have different preferences. The pool is an ideal place for a quick dip to get out of the hot humid days in Townsville, lucky enough we have a 3.3 km stretch of beach just accross the road with a free waterpark and rockpool should you wish to stretch out and enjoy the best Townsville Strand has to offer

We arrived late and it was easy to find and the key was waiting for us.After 3 hours drive it was bliss!

Staff were friendly and check in was easy. The room was a good size and comfortable. It's a great location right on the Strand. It's a great budget motel to spend a couple days with the family.
