Posted 19 Jan 2024 on HotelsFabulous location, close to train station and may cafes and restaurants. Super friendly staff. Our room had an odd layout - the toilet was in a small room, separate from the shower and sink. Overall would highly recommend this place.

It was an interesting property to navigate to find our room. Breakfast was excellent with many choices of food on offer. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Actually, we stayed at this hotel 2 weeks earlier (29 May) and it was satisfactory, though not luxurious. However, when we returned on 11 June, it (the Gare Matabiau Ibis Styles) was closed, apparently for repairs, and they left us a letter saying they'd moved our reservation to another of their hotels. However, since we had chosen this hotel due to its proximity to the train station, the management sent a taxi to take us to the new hotel, and again the following morning so we could catch our train, so we were satisfied. All we lost was an hour of sleep, and the breakfast room at the second hotel was actually larger and nicer than the first hotel.
