Lovely small country house hotel in peacful setting; great food; friendly staff but the single track road to get there is really quite scary!

nice comfortable rooms, good value stay. food nice, staff excellent, particularly the reception staff.
a bit off the beaten track and awkward to get around with narrow roads. a bit pretentious with the overall formal atmosphere and menus of slight delusions of grandeur. most guests appear to be over age of 80 and that generation i expect would find it more favourable. next generation of 80 year olds may hope for /expect easier access bar area and more informal approach.
