We had a great afternoon and evening. Lucy and Sean were very friendly and welcoming as were the rest of the staff. The menu options and food was brilliant and the music in the garden was an added bonus. We will return!

It’s the most wonderful location and for that reason we would stay again, it’s quiet and the staff are lovely. The room cleanliness is poor and the cost per night doesn’t correlate, the decor is very tired too.

Perfect for us
Posted 1 Jul 2024 on HotelsPerfect twin room, not the biggest but everything you need, bright, cheerful and very well presented. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Dinner in the evening was delicious with a good selection of real ales. Breakfast room (not in the main pub) is lovely and lots of choice. Parking right outside, very handy for the Tennyson Memorial and a walk to the Needles. Can’t fault it and will definitely come back.

Very tempting menus on the blackboard in the bar - it was a shame we were already booked to eat elsewhere!
