I could not see the golf course as some golf event was going on , i was asked to buy 55-70$ ticket, what is the point of golf resort stay if you cant see golf course. Then they charge 40$ resort fee. Hotel is old and needs renovation. Bathroom was smelly from old (probably clogged) plumbing. The cleaning lady did great job cleaning it but the smell came back an hour after. The facility is so old no question about that. The elevator situation is frustrating - they have a couple on each side. Staff is very kind and helpful but that doesn’t make up for the condition of the hotel.

This is a beautiful property and was very cozy to stay here. We stayed on the first floor so my dog could have access to the patio. Great option for the fur baby! However, there are a lot of hidden costs upon arrival (price on Expedia is extremely off). Parking is $45 per night, but if you leave the garage you’re paying every time. We booked through Expedia for about $700 and ended up paying about $1200.

Very nice facility, staff, room, location and beautiful views of Torrey Pines golf course and the ocean in the background. Heated pool for an early morning swim was rejuvenating. Very nice and friendly staff.

Nice stay not cheap buy you get what you pay for. Not super busy with other guests either, after Thanksgiving and before Christmas so relatively quiet.

Property is always clean and convenient. Staying on the first floor comes with noise, don’t recommend that floor if you want a quiet room. Rich the bellman is awesome, he’s friendly and always helping with a smile. He’s also got great local recommendations.

A nice place to stay near La Jolla and San Diego. We like the pool and spa area. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom was in good condition. There is a restaurant and bar and coffee bar on site which is convenient.
