Disappointed.
Posted 21 May 2019 on HotelsThis was our 3rd visit but the changes did not improve the hotel. The refurbished restaurant was clinical and so noisy, the constant scraping of chairs on tiled floor. The former extra restaurant area which was a quiet haven is now the AI snack area briefly opened for the odd hour or so. We missed the outside water fountain too. In our bedroom, the balcony door and windows were in a bad state and badly needed painting. No hair drier in the bathroom is ridiculous. Also, we had no bidet. Beds were comfy and we slept well. Cleaning was not the best. The food in the restaurant was not as good as previous visits and there was less choice. Most staff were quite unfriendly. We did enjoy our holiday and spent time in Mijas and Malaga which was lovely. We probably won't return to Gardenia Park Hotel again.

We all feel sad you were disappointed about the new noisy chairs we bought but, do not worry because we have just found the solution and they are not longer noisy.
About choices at the buffet we realize that you have seen that previous years we had 8 hot places on the buffet and, with the changes we have 14 hot dishes and more salads areas and a wonderful show cooking with two meats and two fish dishes, and a vegatables wok; so choices have improved a lot, as the most of our clients verify.
About services in the room, it is true that we have not a dryer in room (we are not a four star), but you can have it from Reception.
The cleanning in our hotel is very good and the Staff is very friendly and polite and for that reason we wish the best.

Nearly perfect
Posted 6 Oct 2018 on HotelsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is my 3rd one this year. Staff are wonderful caring friendly and efficient. Food was very good with plenty of variety and for the price it was very good value. Rooms are basic but clean. However a fridge and kettle would have been handy. Area is within short walking distance of bars supermarkets and shops. Bus stop to Malaga or fuengirola right outside. Very popular with English and Spanish and nearly always booked up

Posted 12 Feb 2018 this hotel is ok if u get it for right price, charged us 20 euro 4 safe in room /for 6 nights (over 3 euro a night) ? room basic but with nice views ,wait 4 ever 4 lifts at meal times ,food cold and poor quality

Room with a view
Posted 26 Nov 2017 on HotelsOn arrival was given a room on the ground floor just off reception, large. Comfy room but unfortunately above a very loud disco, after complaining to the night reception staff, who where very helpful and asked us to see them in the morning upon which we where quickly moved to a room on the 8th floor same spec with fab views. Very happy with the service we received. Breakfast was very good and we would stay there again no problem.
