"This is a wonderful hotel. Spacious, comfortable and quiet rooms. And excellent restaurant with views over Torbay. The bar has an outside patio that also offers stunning views. The pool is great with steam room, jacuzzi and saunas. There is a secluded pebble beach next to the hotel that's very pleasant. Our only issue is that the car park is too small and the spaces are also too thin for modern cars. A very minor issue though."

"A great spot with stunning views across the bay towards Exmouth, also privileged to see beautiful sunrises in our seaview room. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was available if needed but not intrusive. Breakfast was more than adequate in quantity and the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent. I can't fault it at all, we had a three night stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B."

"Woww is all i can i say about our stay. We had a fabulous night. Peter was just the best host ever. He has a wonderful caring nature and really delivered a wonderful experience. The hotel is gorgeous and probably the best comfortable room we have ever stayed in. To top it all off the breakfast was astounding with a huge selection of continental fare. My cooked English breakfast was beautiful as was my wife's eggs royale. I am so pleased we have found this gem of a place and plan to visit...

"The Torcroft was a great place to stay in Torquay. The hosts, Gary and Philip were friendly and professional and could not have done more to make my stay great. They were full of helpful hints on places to go whilst staying in Torquay. The breakfast was lovely and always freshly cooked to order. The bedrooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. I'd definitely recommend a stay here. "

"Loved the room and the view, staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. One issue was that there was a wine stain on the carpet beside the bed, I reported it to the cleaning staff as I didn’t want them thinking it was our fault. They cleaned the room each day but did nothing about the stain on the carpet. The other issue was the water pressure, there was a lovely big bath but it took an age to fill up"

"Amazing hotel and excellent sea views and location, staff and food/breakfast choice were first class. Bedrooms spacious and well laid out. Only one thing the hotel is lacking and that is the corridors leading up tonthe rooms need a refurbishment with fresh paint/carpet because as soon as you enter the corridor the smell is not very good with a musty sort of smells constantly present, as i said woukd only need a frech paint, but saying that best hotel for sea view and everything else was first...
