Great central location, great breakfast and staff very good, just noisy but you are sleeping over the pub and in the central location so a lot of passing human traffic.

Great stay in the heart of wonderful village
Posted 20 Jul 2024 on HotelsThe room and en-suite were very good above a very popular pub in the heart of a wonderful village which is traditional Cornwall but close enough to Plymouth to made it a great break but close to home. Great walks start and end in the village which is very friendly.

Great stay
Posted 1 May 2023 on HotelsFantastic friendly service. Big bedroom and bathroom, all very clean. The only slight criticisms would be that the curtains are white and very thin so the room was very light from 5:30am making it hard to sleep. There was also no mirror in the room however front desk staff quickly rectified this by allowing us to take the mirror hung in the corridor, I would recommend leaving that mirror in the room (Room 2). Overall an excellent two night stay.
