Very old building and unit

The building is under renovations so there were no carpets in the hallways. The elevators felt like going on a rollercoaster. First unit had a v noisy bed and place was v worn down, moved us to another room but it was v worn down, dirty and smelly. Finally after a week moved us to another unit which was much better but over all experience was pretty awful. That said I’m thankful for them offering room change.

The location to the mall and shops was a huge plus. The building security and concierge were very comforting.

Not a good stay. Fire alarm went off 3 times in 2 days. (Once was 11 pm.) We had to purchase our own items such as toilet paper and garbage bags. Our key FOB also stopped working so we couldn’t enter the property, and person at the front said it couldn’t be extended until Monday (happened on the weekend). There was also screaming and fighting until 1 am from another unit, another night was loud music. We had requested to check out early due to all the inconvenience but was denied. Room had to be prepaid upon arrival (plus an additional $100 fee) and even though we left early no money was returned to us. There was also instructions left in the unit stating that the room had to be cleaned before we left, or we would be charged a $150 cleaning fee. Next time I book a “hotel” from Expedia I will ensure that I am actually getting a hotel. The inconveniences and the expectations of having to purchase things that should have been provided is unacceptable when paying this much for a rental. On a positive note the location was good for us, and I was happy to have covered parking provided. (Even though there was construction right outside our window which woke us up early every morning.) Condo building itself was also under construction, hallways were all torn apart and workers just happened to be on the floor we were on during our stay. So we also had to deal with that noise. Overall I would not book again and would not recommend.

Good for the convenient location on foot to Squarr one mall and bus stop. If you bring your children, not recommended at this property.
