I love this hotel! It was our second time staying at this property. What I enjoy most is its warmth, lively exuberance, and elegance. It’s alive with energy. I’ve stayed at many beautiful hotels, but few have the sense of aliveness that this hotel exudes.

Great Stay at the Royal York. Fabulous hotel at the heart of downtown Toronto right next to Union Station and 25 minutes from Pearson Airport via UP express. Historic Hotel with an old world charm and a touch of luxury and elegance. Close to great shopping and dining options

First time staying during the Christmas season and the decorations were worth it! Unfortunately there was a large convention happening in the building so we couldn’t get reservations at any of the 3 restaurants and ended up dining out - but that was excellent. Deluxe double room, lots of space and 2 bathrooms which was a bonus. Comfortable beds, nicely appointed rooms - quiet floor. Order room service in the morning, prompt and polite. Service was fabulous, despite being very busy with the convention. Very congested for driving in, would recommend walking / transit if you can - got stuck waiting to drop off luggage at the entrance in significant traffic as it’s direct across from union and a crowded spot no matter what time of day! Check in was easy, everything went smooth - high level service, excellent from start to finish.
