Hotel is aged old, and wearing out, waiters no service for ol!

Beautiful property, but under invested in, over priced and limited facilities. Old infrastructure in desperate need of an upgrade. Definitely not worth the money they charge. Was on the final leg of a 2 week holiday and this was the worst hotel we stayed in (stayed at 5 different hotels).

Pros: Views
Cons: Only 2 requests: (1) we wish that their shuttle bus service went past 6 pm; (2) the ventilation system was a bit loud at night.
Location: Not too close to the bus transit so it's a bit of a challenge moving around. Many, many things to recommend about the island.
Great view of the ocean from our room. Enjoyed watching sunset in their onsen. Bus driver was very helpful and informative. Staff was friendly. Cleaning staff was excellent - we had a traditional Japanese room and they set up the dining table and the futons for us.

Hotel surrounded by beautiful nature
Posted 16 Dec 2016 on HotelsVery polite staffs & great nature for outdoor exercises. The breakfast is exceptionally good and the restaurant actual showcase most of the soy source manufacturer product and it is a good way to sample most of the famous brand in shodoshima Island.

Shodoshima is a popular island of making soy sauce.
It keeps making traditional methods of making and keeping on.
Olive production is also prosperous, and Shodoshima's olive oil is guaranteed for its quality worldwide.
One day please come back to Shodoshima and try olive oil.
It is very fruity and tasty.

施設内の整備が気になった。掃除が行き届いてなかった。

建物は古いが食事も美味しく概ね快適に過ごせた。ただ、部屋の浴室から下水のような匂いがする事が何度かあった。トイレの水が抜けたことで匂いが上がって来ていたので、水を流す事で解決したが、原因がわからない時は換気扇もないので困った。また、空調が集中の為、肌寒くても暖房に出来ず不便。
