"Day Spring Lodge is a great place to get the feel of suburban Tonga some of the culture of its people. There’s a lovely feel of community and you do feel safe here. There’s easy access to the kitchen and staff is super friendly. If you need a lot of quiet to sleep this probably isn’t the place for you as roosters and dogs and cars are frequently in the background. It’s about 3.5 k’s walk to the town which for me was quite doable and interesting and if you want to get a taxi, only pay seven dollars! I was ripped off twice by taxi drivers. There’s a nice seating area outside in the garden surrounded by banana and Papaya trees to relax or have breakfast. There is no pool."

"Lillian and all the staff (Lita, Lina, Ina) made us feel so welcome and they went out of their way to make our holiday special, changed our booking over the phone to cater for the change in ferry arrival and even baking a cake for my wife's birthday. Staying at Toafa Lodge was the best!"
