Lovely place in a quiet location next to farmland. Road is across the adjacent cornfield but it didn't disturb us. We had the upstairs section with large balcony to ourselves. Self serve breakfast was good. Area to dine outside is pleasant. Hosts are very welcoming. Would stay here again when visiting Tomelilla.

Peace and rural atmosphere
Posted 25 May 2016 on HotelsThis bed & breakfast is excellent if you want to explore Skåne and the southeast part of Sweden. Short driving distance to a lot of interesting places and a really friendly atmosphere. You are really in the countryside!
NB! If you cannot live without watching televison this is not the place.

Charming B&B - Definitely would go back
Posted 24 Apr 2016 on HotelsWhat a great find! My friend and I wanted to wander Skane and visit Malmo, Ystad, and see the Ale's Stones in southern Sweden. I'm so glad we found Landet B&B. The owners are charming and the they've done great work with the place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was DELICIOUS: fresh cheeses, meats, eggs, homemade breads, yogurt, coffee, granola, etc. If we come back to Southern Sweden we would return in a heartbeat. The owner gave us a great dinner recommendation and it was one of our favorite meals the entire trip.

Cute bed and breakfast

Pros: The spacious bedroom
Location: Located right off a main thoroughfare with a cute little town nearby. Not too far away from an amazing beach and little seaside towns.
We got the whole upstairs to ourselves with a nice big room and bathroom. Frederick was very nice and fun to visit with. He has big plans for his b&b. Breakfast room was nice and there was a fridge to store items.

Convenient rural location
Posted 29 Jul 2015Chose this B&B for value price and location outside Ystad. Host was excellent and very helpful to us as older inexperienced American travelers. We had no problems with shared bathrooms even though the inn was full. A good place to spend the night.

Ideal B&B
Posted 16 Jun 2015 on HotelsWe had two wonderful nights here. It is located on a quaint little road surrounded by beautiful farmland. Though not in town, we found it to be an excellent location for exploring Skåne County. The owner/proprietor was extremely friendly and sociable. He told us he formerly worked as a professional chef in France and that showed in the excellent breakfast, which included handmade bread among other treats. Everything was clean and well-organized. If we are fortunate enough to return to southern Sweden, we would stay here again.

Nice room, poor customer service
Posted 2 Aug 2024 on HotelsWe booked this B&B to save a long drive home after visiting Tosselilla, we weren't sure what to do for dinner, we tried calling the hotel all day to find out if their restaurant was open, there was no answer on each occasion or call-back.
We arrived in the evening, the room (number 3) wasn't a bad size, the beds were comfortable and after asking for a second pillow it was quickly brought to me. The room had a small sink which was good, because we had chosen a B&B with a "shared bathroom".
We noticed that the "blackout blind" was not functional, the room was almost daylight, and so asked if the hotel could do anything, the girl at reception stated that she couldn't help and that we have to speak to the manager/owner ourselves, good customer service would be for the hotel to take our feedback and act on it immediately.
Overall during our stay, the staff were quite abrupt/rude, and a little unfriendly. We felt like an inconvenience instead of guest, this little B&B really should focus on improving their customer-facing skills.
I would suggest avoiding room 3, it is directly opposite shared bathrooms which means noise during the night. Also, the ceilings were regularly creaking from people walking around in the upstairs rooms.
Breakfast was a cold selection with no hot food on offer, despite there being a full kitchen, it would have been nice of the hotel provided extra-paid options, for a bit of bacon.
Overall, customer-service is lacking here, a little disappointing.
