"Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "

"This centre had everything we needed. Our unit was spacious and cosy. We were so grateful to be able to check-in very early because of the storm. Our granddaughters had great fun in the pool which was very child friendly with lots of inflatable toys for them. It’s a great location to explore Aviemore and the Cairngorms. "

"Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time."

"The peace & quiet here was amazing! Other guests were respectful & the only noise in the morning was the ducks looking for food. Our lodge was dated but comfortable. There were a few minor issues but nothing that affected our stay. So in summary the accommodation is not luxurious but the location & setting are wonderful if it’s a quiet break you are looking for. "

"Ness View Apartment was hands down the best place I have stayed on holiday. The apartment was cosy, quiet, and was in a well situated area. You could walk to all Inverness has to offer. Eleanor is a pleasure to communicate with. I highly recommend this apartment as a home base for all the Highlands has to offer. "

"First time in this lodge apartment but many visits to Aviemore. Clean and first rate inside. Had a full size Christmas tree setup which just added to festive feel. Easy access to town and Rothimercus. "

"The apartment is in an ideal location for a city centre stay and having designated parking made it so convenient. Apartment was very well furnished and laid out making for a very comfortable stay. Views over the castle lovely, will be even better when castle work complete. Will definitely be back."

The bar attached to the brewery/distillery is nice and would recommend the tour which you get a discount with via your hotel stay. Best Western Inverness Palace Hotel & Spa

"Hotel is in an excellent location. The room we had was overlooking the river and castle so we were very lucky. We were going to a show at the Eden Court theatre which was only a short walk away. My only criticism is the lack of parking for guests staying at the hotel. "

"My stay at the hotel was great. Check in and out super easy, nice rooms, great value. "Wanted to write a review as it was so good to see the attitude and hard work of all staff members, especially the younger members of the team. Proper hospitality, lovely food, amazing wine list and atmosphere. The hotel was super busy but there's a small army of staff... Including a very cheery breakfast chef this morning, constantly bringing out fresh food... Breakfast was lovely. Also loved the piano player in the evening. Minor criticism, hope it's helpful.... More info at reception on check in, make check in 3pm, not 4. Changing area for pool not very nice, mouldy lockers. However, a five star stay and will return. Thanks."

Columba Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality

Great place to stay

"We always try to stay here when visiting lnverness as it is convenient for the town centre and car park. The lounge area is not for us due to the perpetual football coverage on the TVs which no-one seemed to be watching. It was noticeably empty compared to other establishments round about. Breakfast is very good and the room/bed was very comfortable."

"The hotel is in a convenient and walkable position for all the shop, bars, restaurants and the river. The welcome on arrival from Jo was warm, friendly and helpful. She was full of local knowledge and recommendations and was always chatty during our 3 night stay. There is easy parking at the rear of the hotel. All the staff were friendly and happy to assist if required. "
