"This hotel was terrible. I paid for a sea view room but could not see the sea. I complained to management who said it was a "sea facing" room. This was a scam. I went to a higher level and could see the water from their. I think they just gave my room to someone else. The bathroom was mouldy. The room had a musty smell. The bathroom fittings were in a state of disrepair. Over night a large cockroach took up residence in my shoe"

"Our stay at the hotel was amazing. The area is definitely still recovering from post-Covid tourist decline, and it being the shoulder season for Northern Hemisphere tourists, we had the place almost to ourselves. Our host Christian was super friendly and helpful. He found our debit card we left behind, and helped arrange it to get returned. And he is an amazing artist on the side! "The staff were wonderful, as was the food. It’s a very comfortable Bali-like villa with a fantastic infinity pool. Birds come to drink from the pool, which is really entertaining The sea views are incredible. The fisherman’s village is a nice walkable excursion. The only drawback was that our room was hot. "
