Not sleepless in Akasaka
Posted 25 Jan 2020 on HotelsI stayed here almost a year ago and I guess I could tolerate it. This time, with a small room, uncomfortable bed and pillows, I requested a refund for my remaining nine days. Due to coming here to study, it was imperative to get decent sleep at night so I could concentrate while in a medical clinic. Thanks to excellent customer service from Hotels.com, I not only got a refund but they found me a very comfortable place in Akasaka at MyStays, albeit significantly more expensive. Most hotels have at least one person at the front desk who can speak some English, since Tokyo is an international city. Marroad Inn is very limited in this respect.

Excellent option
Posted 3 Jan 2020 on HotelsExcellent location, very friendly and helpful staff.
Typical Tokyo size room, slightly outdated but clean and has everything that I need.
The location is close to Asakusa station and close to restaurants.
Excellent option for the price. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I am in Tokyo.

Like an American MOTEL
Posted 1 Apr 2019 on HotelsWe can early so we had to wait for check in time, when we finally could get our room the old style key got stuck in the lock. Inside the room was two small beds with old sheets that had ink stains and who knows what else. Decor looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s. We even had an non-working AM/FM radio part of the bed stand.

Decent business hotel in Akasaka
Posted 5 Feb 2019 on HotelsPedestrian business hotel that served its purpose for my stay. The quality of the breakfast buffet wasn’t very good to be honest. The fish didn’t taste that fresh...
