We enjoyed our stay at the JR Kyushu Blossom. Fantastic location! I wanted to express our appreciation to Justyna at the front desk, who provided exceptional service and was very helpful to my husband and I, both with our stay at the hotel as well as with helping us with translation and navigating tickets that we had issues with. She truly cared and wanted to make our time in Tokyo a memorable experience. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Location: This property is located very conveniently within walking distance of Shinjuku Station and NEWoMan, for transit (including airport bus) options. There is a station entrance very close by, so you don’t need to walk outside (exposed to elements) much to get there. It is a prime location for active travelers who wish to experience Tokyo and other areas of Japan. Facilities: in the rooms, expect very basic amenities, including some highly questionable choices like single-ply toilet paper. Staff: the staff are very friendly. Often times there are only one or two at the desk, so a line builds up. There are no other staff. Parking: there is a mechanized (turntable) entrance as part of the building. One parking staff told me that the hotel doesn’t do parking service. However another staff (after I had already paid) told me they do. If true, I wasted some money on this. Parking is closed (no entry / exit) from 11pm ~ 7am, which is not convenient especially if you’re jet lagged. Price: expect to pay a similar rate to other 4-star-rated properties in the area. Star rating: it is unclear why this property is considered a 4-star hotel. As compared to other 4-star rated properties nearby (such as Keio Plaza Hotel), there is only 1 restaurant; there are no shops; no 24 hour parking; limited desk staff; no bell staff / concierge; no airport bus; relatively early checkout (11am); single-ply toilet paper; relatively small rooms; no 24 hour security guards; etc.
