　出張帰りだったが、噂に聞いていた奥浅草を味わってみようとHotel OKUnoMAを予約した。 「まちに泊まる」というコンセプトを体現しようとまずは銭湯へ。徒歩5分程のところにある曙湯は美しい外観の日本建築で、内部も格(ｺﾞｳ)天井が素晴らしい。ジャグジー風呂などを堪能し、しっかりと暖まった後は、ホテルで発行しているまちの案内パンフに載っていた「ずぶ六」へ。店主セレクトの日本酒をたっぷりと頂いた。あて(料理)も全てが美味であった。深夜になってしまったがホテルに戻る。チェックイン時に渡された鍵を使って夜間入退出用のドアから部屋に。1人用の部屋で値段も安いということもあり期待はしていなかったが、良い部屋だ。確かに贅沢な造りではないがセンスがいい。共用の洗面室もトイレもとてもシックな造りで綺麗。調理用器具の揃った大きなキッチンもあるので長期間滞在にも良いかもしれない。 　翌日、噂の最上階の風呂に入った。全面ガラス張り、スカイツリーが臨める浴槽に朝日を浴びながら入るのは最高に気持ちが良かった。 　今度は家族でも連れて来ようかと思った。
