The staff was nice helped us with our check in times. Although, the property is not what you see in the pictures, it is older that that, bedsheets didn't smell like clean. No AC in common areas.

The room was good and clean, which was a great surprise since as after making the reservation we read terrible reviews regarding cleanness. The common areas seem a bit neglected and not so clean though. The Kuramae area is nice, the hotel is close to the subway.

The guy is really nice and accomodating and the area was decent to walk, but for the love of god, don't stay here... Hair every where, bathroom, pillows, bed sheets, you name it. Second, we reserved a room with 2 beds (1 bed and one futon). We got one bed and thin pad for the floor with almost no room to put it. I should've trusted (and or read them) the other reviews before booking because for the money this place sucked. Pay extra and stay at a real hotel. The photos of random glass building and stuff aren't actually part of the hotel. The photos make it look way nicer then it is. Oh, don't do the laundry, you'll pay for the detergent (that's fine I understand), then you'll pay for the drier which is 100yen per 30 minutes. We ran the drier for almost 4 hours and the clothes never dried. We had to pull everything out damp and walk to a laundry mat which honestly was cheaper, quicker and actually cleaned the clothes.

The hotel gives you the room key via lockbox through a message with the lockbox code There is no one at reception. When I tried to check into the room, using the code and the key, the room was already lived in. There was hair in the sheets and on top of the sheets and used tissues in the room. There was hair in the bathroom and trash in the bathtub. It looked like someone was either still staying there or had just left and the room hadn't been cleaned. I messaged and called the property and received no response. I called them using the bell at reception continuously with no response for 3 hours and no one came. I ended up having to stay at a different hotel and when hotels.com finally reached out to them, they said nothing could be done and wouldn't even offer a refund. The room cannot be stayed in, it was disgusting. Additionally the wifi code they give you does not work.

Super terrible and strongly not recommended to stay** 1. First shock, reception was nobody when we arrived. After getting help from nice japanese who stay around the are, The service guy who claimed himself as the owner came to welcome with bad attitude and excused himself that he informed how to check-in via message in the day we came. Seriously! Informed us while were flying! 2. The secound shocking, rooom was a super dirty and the picture advertisements in Expedia was contrasted in the reality. The towel had a lot of hairs and the toilet was dirty either. 3. The peak thirdly, Bad manner service guy! the last night staying, we were forced to leave from the living by the service guy from we met. His manner was so really bad and dare us to give 1 star feedback.I started complain him about service and the situation we met. He shown his aggressive react and told us to leave if we didnt like this place. After that, he called the police and accuse us to the police that we were attacked him. Finally, we got a nightmares here and this place ruin our trip in Tokyo. We have been travelling for more than 10 times and never seen this terrible experiences with hotel in Japan. I wrote a comment so long for warnning the travellers do not book hotel if you dont wanna get such a bad experinces like us. Goddam Cocoro Inn. Never be back forever!

The room was smelling bad because of animal odors. Higher level access needed climbing up unsafe stairs additional to elevators, which was totally unfit to small child and a family stay.
