They do a great job of blending comfort and interest, high-end and funky. The forest sauna is a great touch, along with the mini arcade. We didn't try the food, but the menu seemed like it might have items worth traveling in for.
Because Tofino is a hot spot, accommodations and attractions are going to cost a bit of a premium. However, this place wasn't that much more considering the level of varied value and its proximity to the main strip.
Skip the people who want you to pay off the mortgage on their investment; go with the quality hotel that goes the extra mile.
