Senpokaku Ryokan

The room was spacious and had lots of extras like snacks, a hot water urn for tea, a fridge and all the toiletries you'd expect. The view was very good from my room! The futon was already set up when I arrived, which was appreciated for a rest before dinner.
As with others I'd say it's a bit dated but that doesn't detract from the stay.
Lots of additional amenities on site but not all were open due to the coronavirus. These included a bar, cafe, karaoke room and games arcade. The outdoor onsen was lovely, and not too hot, which they often are! The grounds are also beautiful to walk around.
Breakfast in the morning was small but quite a good selection of different Japanese and Western choices. The crayfish miso soup is worth a try!
The one minor negative point is that they offer a shuttle bus to and from Toba station because the ryokan is up a hill, but they don't advertise this so it was a long walk up there to check in!
Otherwise a very pleasant stay!

Accommodating Service, Great view and Lovely Onsen
Posted 19 Nov 2019 on HotelsHotel was accommodating in that they kept our luggage after we checked out and even sent us to the JR Station after their designated scheduled shuttle timing.
Great view from hotel, spacious room and lovely onsen too.
