Historic house
Posted 2 Jun 2024 on HotelsInteresting historic house, once a nurses home as it’s opposite a hospital! No reception, access via a door code sent to you by SMS on day of arrival. Except mine did not arrive. Had to work out who to phone (security guy) then was told room wasn’t ready. All a bit of a nuisance as we were tired after a long journey. But having spoken to the staff, ten mins later my code arrived. Total delay 20 mins. However, room was fine though very small, with useful kitchenette. All very clean and quiet too. There’s a small cafe to buy breakfast. Easy location for walking into town and down to harbour.

Great hotel for our trip. Our room didnt have wifi for whatever reason. Other than that it was great

This property was quiet and clean. And the dining room/ lounge area was like sitting in a tea room, very quaint. And the attached cafe had nice options and good coffee and tea.
