JR is a terrific host. Attentive. Cordial. Prompt. Knows the area. It's a budget hotel, but a fine spot to stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this Inn! The property may be small, but it offers all the basic amenities, and everything works perfectly. The true standout is the host, JR, who is an absolute gem. His dedication and hard work are what make this place run so smoothly. JR's warmth and helpfulness were evident from the moment we arrived, as he waited late to check us in and greeted us with a great smile. His commitment to providing excellent service is reflected in the positive reviews this place receives. Highly recommend staying here if you looking for quick stopover while visiting Allegheny national forest.

Posted 22 Jul 2024 on HotelsWhere do I start? First, the place has no office. You have to call ahead and let the guy know when you are arriving. That's not always possible when you're in sales. Then he comes out and takes you in the room, closes the door, and proceeds to explain how to work the tv and turn on lights and AC. Being a woman travelling alone, I did not appreciate that at all! I've been turning on tvs, lights, and ACs for many years. The room was super tiny. The nearest restaurant was 21 miles away. Lastly, I could not get cell phone reception there. I need my phone for business calls. I called the manager to tell him I would have to check out a day early because of that and he said rudely, "Well you got through to me, didn't you?" Then we got cut off. I had to call him 4 times to get the message across due to poor phone connections. I didn't expect a refund on the second night, I just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. I can't possibly understand how this place got such good reviews! My parents ran a mom and pop motel back in the 60's, so I always try to give their little places my business when possible. But no office?? What about ice, vending, receipts? My Dad would always greet customers in the office even if it was 2am! This is a poor excuse for a motel and totally unacceptable.

Great little place to stay!
Posted 24 Jun 2024 on HotelsGreat communication when booking room, a week prior and a day prior. JR was able to answer questions and give suggestions on places to see and eat. He is a wealth of information and if you have some time he has a trove of stories!
